Lisa Rowan is a consumer finance reporter at Forbes Advisor, where she covers personal finance and economic policy. She has a master’s degree from Georgetown University, where she studied the challenges of reshoring American apparel manufacturing, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland. A Philadelphia-area native who spent 10 years in Washington, D.C., Lisa is most recently a resident of St. Petersburg, Florida.
She enjoys being Pop Fashion’s occasional sports correspondent.

Kaarin Vembar has a degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She worked in television news then at a museum before she decided to change her life direction and become a wardrobe stylist. She shopped and worked in client’s closets for nearly 10 years. She is now an editor for a trade publication focused on retail business news.
